Both Lexington Hills and The Parkway have several parks, greenbelts, and wetland areas. There are miles of walking and bike trails in the area. The area is only about a mile from the Folsom Point access to Folsom Lake.
Lexington Hills was one of the fastest-growing areas of Folsom in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Several builders built well to very good quality production and custom homes, some of which are on view lots. This area is east of Oak Avenue Parkway and south of Blue Ravine Road. Currently, most homes in this area sell from the mid $300,000’s to the mid $600,000’s.
The Parkway, just north of Lexington Hills, was developed along Humbug Creek starting in the late 1990s. Homes in the area are good quality production homes built by several builders. Homes in this area of the Parkway currently sell in the range of the low $400,000’s to the mid $500,000’s. The theme of this area is nature and conservation and the walking and bike trails along the creek are its centerpiece. Construction began recently further to the east. These newer homes are selling in the mid $600,000s to high $700,000s.+

A new apartment complex is being built east of Oak Avenue Parkway near the hospital. There is an elementary school in the area and Folsom Lake Center (community college) is just to the south and is currently undergoing an expansion.
