A little detail about our favorites for fine dining in Folsom.

Sutter Street Steakhouse

Located in Folsom's Historic District, the Sutter Street Steakhouse was opened in 2009 by the award-winning 5th Street Steakhouse in Chico.

With top-notch service, excellent food, and expertly prepared cocktails, it became an instant favorite.

While they're famous for steaks cooked in their 1000+ degree broiler, they also feature chicken and seafood dishes, and great sides and sauces.

Sleek and comfortable, with polished wood and glass interior, low-key lighting, and windows looking out toward Lake Natoma, it is a great choice for special occasions, date nights, or just because.

There's a small bar area that features excellent happy hour bites, and a large patio, perfect for groups.

Check it out.

Back Bistro

A great Folsom success story, The Back Bistro was opened by the husband and wife team of Jeff and Gail Back.

Starting as The Back Wine bar, a small establishment in a strip mall. Jeff, a certified sommelier, would guide guests through his wine list, offering suggestions and dispensing his knowledge with cool confidence.

As their reputation grew, so did their business. They expanded into the space next door and renamed their venture, The Back Bistro.

More success followed, and when presented with the opportunity to move to a choice new location, they jumped at it. Today, the Back Bistro sits in the heart of Palladio Center, surrounded by shops, a 16-screen movie theater, and other restaurants.

With an open, light, and bright interior, a wall of windows overlooking the center, and a beautiful covered patio, the Back Bistro vibe is fresh and exciting.

It's a great place for dinner and a movie, celebrating with large groups, or hanging out for cocktails and appetizers.

Give this place a visit, you might just become a regular.

Land Ocean

Wagyu steak, wood-fired rotisserie chicken, and macadamia-nut-crusted halibut are among the delicious offerings at Land Ocean.

The square, back-lit bar, is the focal point, but don't miss the comfortable, intimate booths or the beautiful patio with firepits.

Owned by Karoline and Mark Platt, the duo who own Sienna and South Fork Grill restaurants, Land Ocean has a reputation for a creative menu, with great service from a well-trained staff.

Located in the East Bidwell Shopping corridor, it's the perfect place to take a break from shopping, and being a 3 minute drive from Harris Center Theater, you can't beat it for dinner or a cocktail before a concert or show.

Bacchus House

Tucked into a corner of a nondescript shopping center, Bacchus House Wine Bar and Bistro is one of Folsom's hidden gems.

This little restaurant is known for over-the-top decor that changes with the seasons, or moods. Valentine's Day, Easter, and Christmas are all treated to spectacular displays, and the life-sized Hollywood monsters at Halloween are not to be missed.

This place puts you in a great mood as soon as you walk through the door.

Did we mention the food? The menu is all about fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients. Award-Winning Executive Chef and co-owner Victor Octavio transforms these ingredients with bold flavors and presentations matching the ambiance.

Their garden-like, intimate patio often features live music.

Excellent food and a joyous atmosphere make Bacchus House a must-visit destination.

Scott's Seafood Roundhouse

Scott's has been a popular restaurant with a local following for over 20 years, but it wasn't until they relocated to the brand new RoundHouse building in Folsom's Historic restaurants did it become the hottest ticket in town.

This beautiful restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple seating areas, including 2 brick patios overlooking the Historic Railroad Plaza, fantastic food, and great service.

A bustling bar serves the full menu along with craft cocktails served by expert bartenders.

Specialties like pappardelle with scallops and jumbo prawns, grilled branzino, and spicy cioppino are all crowd-pleasers.

Get down there and experience it for yourself.
