Ranch America, Locally Produced Show to Air on the Outdoor Channel

Spotlight on the Small, Family Ranch

Ranch America, a show about real-life ranches across America, debuts tonight on the Outdoor Channel.

Hosted by rancher, chef and cowboy River Klass, the series provides a fresh and contemporary perspective on the ranching industry.

Klass and Ranch America help celebrate American horse and cattle ranches, the cowboy and cowgirl lifestyle and rodeo communities, as well as the remarkable and scenic canvas that serves as America’s landscape.

Cattle and beef production represent the largest single segment of American agriculture, and the vast majority, 97%, are classified as family farms, with nearly 80% having less than 50 head of cattle.

In each episode, the show follows the families as they work together to manage their ranches, raise livestock, and deal with the everyday challenges of life on the ranch.
