Famed Percussionist Brings His Latin Jazz Ensemble to Town

Folsom’s Jazzy Sundays concert series concludes this Sunday August 8, at 1pm, with the Rene Escovedo Latin Jazz Ensemble. 

Part of the famous Escovedo family, which includes Pete, Sheila E, and Peter Michael, Rene has been playing and performing since the age of 9. 

Whether playing Latin Jazz classics, or putting his own twist on standards and popular tunes, Rene and his group really delivers. Get ready for some great music and irresistible rhythm that might just get you on your feet. 

This concert will be held at the Zittel Family Amphitheater, which features cement seats with artificial grass, so you may want to bring a blanket or a low-backed chair. Small coolers permitted.  

Plenty of free parking is available in the garage across the plaza at 905 Leidesdorff St.
