Get your glow on at the annual Folsom Glow Run. Happening Saturday, October 5th, this fun, family-friendly run/walk starts and finishes in the Historic District. The 2.5 mile mostly flat course features string lights, Silly String battle zone, foam tunnel, and a whipped-cream pie eating contest. DJ dance party at the end. Bishop, with his Gibson guitar, and Musselwhite, with his wailing harmonica, show us the roots of Chicago blues in this meeting of musical minds. … Thai Paradise, one of Folsom’s favorites, will be having a the grand opening and ribbon cutting of their new location in El Dorado Hills October 9. Great food delivered with a smile, I am happy to see them so successful…
… I’m recommending you get your tickets ASAP for the annual Whole Lotta Brews, happening October 19th. Come on down and enjoy unlimited beer, cider, mead and spirit tastings from around the region, as well as gourmet food samplings from local restaurants caterers and other vendors. It’s all included with your ticket! They’ll also have music, games and raffle prizes. This is a fundraiser for the Folsom Cordova Community Foundation, and outstanding organization serving our community. Don’t miss it!
