Heard around Folsom – National Night Out… Parking … Photos… Community Service Day

Hey Folks, it’s about time for another ‘Heard around Folsom’, don’t you think? This is Steve Heard, Realtor, Ambassador and general Folsom Fan. There are some interesting community events happening around town. Check it out….

First up is National Night Out. Happening tonight, Tuesday the 6th, this is a program designed to promote neighborhood camaraderie, community relations and crime prevention.  Get together with your neighbors and own your streets!  Parties will be hosted in many Folsom neighborhoods. Community Service Day Volunteer Registration is Open!  Thousands of volunteers will come together to complete over 65 service projects on September 21. It can’t happen without you. Come and give back to your community, and have fun doing it. More details and registration here

The Historic District Parking Solutions Ad Hoc Committee is meeting this coming Thursday. Come and voice your opinion or just listen as the issues surrounding parking in the Historic District are discussed, and recommendations made for improvements.  More info…
