Night of 1000 Pumpkins Returns to Sutter Street

Folsom’s annual Night of 1000 Pumpkins returns to Sutter Street Friday, October 23 from 6pm to 8pm.

Thousands of parents and kids are expected for trick-or-treating with local merchants, costume contest and parade, movies in the amphitheater, street vendors and more.

The event is free, though it is requested that you bring one carved pumpkin per child, and drop it off between 6pm and 8pm

Event schedule is:

4 PM to 6 PM – Pumpkin drop off in front of 200 Wool Street (Folsom Chamber Building) or bring your carved pumpkin and place it on display anytime throughout the day or night in the Sutter and Wool Parking lot pumpkin display area! Look for the Wells Fargo Stage Coach! Across the street from 801 Sutter Street (Dorothea’s)

6 PM to 8 PM – Trick or Treat at local merchants. Look for the orange trick or treat sign on their door!

6 PM – Cynthia’s Dance Center performance at the outdoor amphitheater located behind 200 Wool Street.

6:30 PM – Children’s Costume Contest and Parade at the outdoor amphitheater located behind 200 Wool Street. To enter please Contact Cynthia with Cynthia’s Dance Studio at 916.801.6553.

7:15 PM – It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown will play at the outdoor amphitheater located behind 200 Wool Street.

8:15 PM – Back to the Future II, rated PG at the outdoor amphitheater located behind 200 Wool Street.

PUBLIC PARKING: Please park in the parking structure located at 905 Leidesdorff Street at the corner of Reading Street and Leidesdorff Street.
