Santa Clause is Coming Through Town!

Here comes Santa Claus! Folsom Police and Fire staff, along with volunteers, will guide Santa’s sleigh on the annual parade beginning at 5:30 p.m.  tonight!

The project will run nightly Dec. 13-15. In the event of heavy rain, the parade will be rescheduled for Dec. 16-17.

When you hear the Police and Fire Department sirens you will know Santa and Mrs. Claus are in your neighborhood. The police cars and fire trucks will safely escort Santa and Mrs. Claus down your street and stop to greet children at pre-determined locations. They will spend a few moments at each stop handing out candy canes and collecting non-perishable food and toys for the Christmas Basket program sponsored by the Folsom Police Department and Twin Lakes Food Bank. All donations benefit local families in need of a helping hand.

The Police Department sponsors the Santa’s Sleigh program as a community-wide goodwill effort. Young children and their parents will know Santa’s sleigh is approaching when they hear the police and fire sirens, so listen up! See the pre-determined routes and estimated times below.

This years route may be slightly different than last years route, so check carefully to find out when the parade will be near your home. Local elementary schools have been included to allow a convenient location for neighborhoods to gather and welcome Santa!
