folsom fireFolsom Fire Chief Ron Phillips invites the community to meet on-duty fire crews and tour the main fire station during the Annual Fire Prevention/Fire Safety Open House. The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Fire Station 35, 535 Glenn Dr.

Free activities include station tours, interaction with fire crews, home exit drills, fire extinguisher training and kitchen safety tips. Volunteers from the City’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will answer questions about the importance of this program in the community.
