Folsom High School PTSA COLLEGE EXPO

On Monday, September 16th from 6:00-8:00 PM, the Folsom High School PTSA is offering a COLLEGE EXPO and invites all students and parents to attend this free event. This is the only college planning education event currently planned for the year and is replacing the College Night Series that have been held in the past.  It will take place  in the Multi-purpose room and refreshments will be available for sale.

THE COLLEGE EXPO is an opportunity for students and parents to get their questions answered.  Come for an evening of short break-out sessions with industry leaders to learn what it takes to plan for college today.   Be sure to visit the ASK THE EXPERT arena to get your individual questions answered.

•   What are colleges looking for in students?

•   How do I get my college application to stand out?

•    Is there a secret to getting college coaches to notice me?

•    What is the difference between the SAT and ACT tests?

•    How am I going to pay for college?

Representatives from the  community will be participating in the event including: The College Planning Center, Hands4Hope Community Service representative , Folsom Lake Community College, Dollars for College Financial Planning, ROTC and Academy representatives, as well as some College representatives. This is not a College Fair, but an educational event.

If you have questions, please  call The College Planning Center in Folsom  at  985-0453.  We hope to see you there!
