Low Housing Inventory Persists

Wow! There have been some major changes to the market in the past few months.
It’s amazing how fast homes are selling! With less than 20% REO’s and less than
20% short sales on the market today we are seeing an influx of traditional seller’s.
A true indicator our market has finally taken a turn for the better!

Nothing speaks like these numbers…

From February 1-10 of 2012 in the Tri-county area the sold
statistics for all 1-4 residential unit dwellings were:
Average sales price: $201,237 $110 per square foot with 68 Days on Market DOM

From February 1-10 of 2013 in the Tri-county area the sold
statistics for all 1-4 residential unit dwellings were:
Average sales price: $263,842 $137 per square foot and 37 DOM.

That’s an increase of $62,500 from this time last year.

Prices should continue to climb!
