Sacramento is exploring the idea of its first toll road. An El Dorado Hills > Elk Grove connector is being looked at, and may include toll roads to help speed up funding. While the route does not currently go through Folsom, it could be if Folsom expands south of US 50, as the connector goes via White Rock Road.
