Jack Kipp, 1920 – 2006

Jack Kipp, a 4th-generation and lifelong Folsom resident, passed away of natural causes on Friday. Kipp was well known for his contributions to the city, as he served as mayor for many years, and was influential in the city’s growth. The city’s civic center is named after him. Friends are invited to attend visitation Tues. May 30, from 5 to 8 p.m., & Wed. May 31 from Noon to 5 p.m. both at Miller Funeral Home in Folsom, and a rosary Wed. May 31, 2006 at 7 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial Thurs. June 1, 2006 at 10 a.m. both at St. John’s Catholic Church in Folsom.
