Dam Road May Be Off the Table

Many were very excited to hear that the federal government gave the “thumbs up” to re-open the dam road. Unfortunately, Placer & El Dorado officials are unwilling to pony up some of the money to re-open it. The Folsom Dam Bypass Bridge has now become the priority. Meanwhile, the skyrocketing costs of the Folsom Dam raise have brought the discussion of Auburn Dam back on the table.
