Slowly but surely, the closure of the Folsom Dam Road is taking its toll on merchants affected with major traffic issues. The latest victim is Granite Bay Jewelers, which has seen business decline by 35% since the closure. Many Sutter Street businesses have been hit hard as well, and there is no relief in sight.
