Mercy Folsom Gets $2M Gift

Local philanthropist and developer Bill Cummings gave $2 million to Mercy Folsom in his wife’s honor on Christmas, which makes it the lead donation in an $18 million effort to expand its emergency room. Claudia and Bill Cummings have been very generous to the city over the years, donating over 100 acres to the city since the 80s, including 26 acres for the existing site of Mercy Folsom.
