SMUD Plans Ahead in Folsom

Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) wants to create 2 more substations in Folsom, as well as an overhead line in Empire Ranch. The utility company is trying to stay ahead of the curve before Folsom grows to meet its needs. If approved, the substations would expand the line at Blue Ravine & Big Valley Road, and create a new one at Broadstone Parkway and Golf Links Drive. More is in the Bee.
