$50 Million Bridge Draws Nearer

HR-901, otherwise known as the Folsom Dam Road Bridge bill, passed another hurdle by narrowly being approved by the House Resources Committee 22-20. The $50 bridge may have to be of 2 options: a 2-lane bridge 100% funded by the federal government, or a 4-lane bridge that the City of Folsom has to pay 20% for. Next up is a floor vote; if passed, the bridge could be here as soon as 2005. More in the Telegraph.
