Juneteenth Celebrates Emancipation Proclamation

Come on by to Negro Bar this Saturday to see a re-creation of the gold-mining camp that once thrived there in the 1850s. Juneteenth is the annual celebration of the end of slavery, and from 9:30 – 4:30 on Saturday, the public can come by and check out free gold panning, wagon rides, view mining items, and listen to speakers regarding the Emancipation Proclamation. More is in the Telegraph.
