Parks Will Cost $3.2 Million to Finish Up
One sore spot among many residents of Folsom is that many of the parks in our neighborhoods remain unfinished. Construction mounds and chain link fences surround land that is slated for parks, yet they remain untouched. Well, Folsom Parks & Recreation is aware of the problem, and the first step to finishing these parks up is assessing how much it will cost. $3.2 Million is the magic number, and Vice Mayor Eric King plans on setting up a park renovation fund to help the city get there.
