Railroad Block Proposal Denied
A proposed development for the Folsom Railroad Block was denied by city council, citing not enough retail and commercial space in the plan. A 100-room hotel and 20,000 square feet of retail space was part of the proposal, along with 290 residential units. While residents were happy with the decision, they also urged caution for the proposed Railroad Block, calling for an economic study of the district. More is in the Telegraph and the Bee.
