No Raise = Wage Cut?
Folsom-Cordova School District is apparently just as prone to cost-cutting measures as the private sector. Joining the ranks of Intel, HP and many other companies in the greater Sacramento area, the school district will not be handing out wage increases this year to many of its employees. Some staff feel the lack of a wage increase equals a pay cut, since they were expecting at least a 1.5% cost of living increase. More is in the Telegraph.
