Folsom Dam Raise Not Happening Any Time Soon
John Doolittle’s fight for an Auburn Dam gained some momentum when The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee pushed a water-projects bill in to action, and the raising of Folsom Dam was not on the list. This means that the $219 million project will be delayed for at least a year, and breathes some hope in to the life of the Auburn Dam, which has all but been forgotten since its stoppage in 1975.
