Tree Recycle Day
Time to get those Christmas trees down... the Boy Scouts are recycling trees today; drop your unflocked trees down at Rodeo Park (by the zoo), and they will take care of the rest! If you miss it today, you can always use the green waste bin; just make sure you cut the tree down to fit. Boxes and wrapping paper can also be recycled too - here are some drop off locations.

2008 in Review
Folsom's new dog park was part of a great 2008 for Folsom. Folsom Lake Crossing won out in a naming contest for the bridge, Intel spinoff Numonyx launched, a new parking structure on Sutter Street, and Ernie Sheldon takes Eric King's council spot. Safe Rides on NYE
This New Year's Eve, if you've had too mch to drink, you can get a safe ride home, c/o Folsom PD, from 9PM to 2AM. However the focus is on Sutter Street, as that is where most of the celebrations are; this service does not handle house parties, and rides are only to your house (not another party). All of the establishments support this service and would be able to assist you in arranging for a ride - or, call Folsom PD at 355-7231. This service is primarily for Folsom residents.
